Before their romantic involvement, Gomez and Blanco worked together on the song ‘I Can’t Get Enough,’ which came out in February 2019. The music video for the song, released the following month, showcased the duo together, as noted by Billboard.

Additionally, Blanco was a co-producer on Gomez’s hit ‘Single Soon,’ released in August 2023. At that time, the couple had not disclosed their relationship to the public.

In December of that year, Gomez confirmed their relationship via Instagram by interacting with fans, referring to Blanco as her ‘absolute everything’ and mentioning they had been dating for six months.

The couple officially announced their relationship on Instagram later that month, as Gomez posted photos featuring Blanco, marking the beginning of their public romance.

They have been open about their relationship on social media, sharing glimpses and speaking about their bond.

In a February interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1, Gomez discussed her relationship, saying: “Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you.”

“And I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. I’d have to say overall, it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely. I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome,” she added.

Blanco also opened up about their relationship on The Howard Stern Show, expressing his admiration for Gomez and stating he can’t envision a better situation than being with her.
